Presentation Evening Beckons
Canton and Riverside will attend their first ever presentation gala at Cardiff's City Hall tommorrow evening. The Cars will be in attendance to receive their honour of finishing as runners up to Cardiff Corries in the Under 14's B Division. It is an enormous achievement for a club which is still in its infancy to receive such an accolade. The Cars scored 114 goals this season mounting 49 points and losing just four times out of twenty one games. Manager Caresimo said, "My target in our debut season was to win at least a match, last season was to finish in the top 5. Once again we have exceeded our objectives by winning a trophy and all this by playing some entertaining football." Caresimo praised all his players for a grand job,"Im proud of all them as Im sure Mal, Vito and Neil are too. It was a tremenfous feat to finisher as we have and Im thoroughly looking forward to tommorrow's awards. The points deserve it! "  
Karime Ahmed Bows Out
The on off saga of striker Karime Ahmed has finally come to a conclusion. The star striker who has netted 48 career goals for the Cars has decided to quit the club to join local rivals Grangetown BC. The club are rocked by the news after Ahmed initially changed his mind not to go. The club however wish him well and hope that he can achieve his goal of becoming a professional footballer.  
Cars beat Div A opposition with ease
The Cars destroyed Grange Albion in an end of season friendly at Jubille Park by winning quite convincingly. The Cars came out 13-2 winners. Civil Service also suffered the same fate as they went down 7-3 to the Cars the following week.  
Sequence continues sponsorship
Club sponsers Sequence Collective have once again agreed to support the club next season. This is good news for the club. Sequence are also embarking on entering a side of their own in the Cardiff Corprate five a side league which commences in July.  
New Players Join Cars
Jordan of Grange Albion and Matthew from Danescourt are just two of the new signings the Cars hope to make in the summer to bolster their squad. A new keeper is also on the verge of signing.
